Free Photoshop alternative… not something you will hear many times but you have now.  Many times I have people bring artwork to me that they want printed or copied and usually it is in the wrong format.  Most print places need files in a particular format so that they can adjust or edit what needs to be printed because of no bleed on the file or crop marks or cut marks.  There are a variety of things that can come up when you go to have your file printed and I know most people cannot afford a program such as Photoshop so I wanted to let you know that there is a free alternative to Photoshop….  it is an open source project or program and it does as much as you need it to if not more than Photoshop will do.  In fact GIMP ( GNU Image Manipulation Program) will import/open and export to a Photoshop file… exactly what your printer or copy store needs.
